Introducing DocLink: Navigate Seamlessly Between Documents in ARender

At Uxopian, we believe that working with complex document sets shouldn’t be a complex experience. That’s why we’re introducing DocLink, a new feature in ARender that brings seamless hyperlinking, within a document or across documents, to life.

ARender: Built for Complex Workflows

.ARender stands apart from other document viewers thanks to its ability to:

• Open multiple documents at once, from any source system or repository.
• Render virtually any document type—PDFs, Word, emails, images, scanned files, and more—with a unified interface.
• Handle very large files (10,000+ pages) with high responsiveness.
• Do all of this without requiring native apps or plugins.

These foundations make ARender uniquely suited to offer rich document interactions like DocLink, with a smooth, integrated user experience.

DocLink: Create Hyperlinks in Seconds

DocLink enables users to create hyperlinks between two points, even across different documents, in a way that’s simple, guided, and natural.

Here's how it works:

• Two documents open side by side: the origin document on the left, the target on the right.
• The origin document is immediately active, with the cursor ready to select a text fragment—no extra clicks needed.
• The target document is grayed out, signaling it’s not the current focus.
• Once a selection is made in the origin document, it’s grayed to indicate completion.
• The target document automatically becomes active, allowing the user to choose either:
  • A precise position for the hyperlink,
  • Or a page from the thumbnail panel.
• The link is created. The focus then returns to the origin document, ready for another selection.

This fluid interaction makes it easy to build a network of references between documents—without ever leaving the viewer or breaking concentration.
